Winston-Salem, N.C. (May 7, 2019) The Sergei Foundation‘s sixth annual Triad Dog Games is truly a one-of-a-kind event in North Carolina. It is the only dog expo that features the most prominent professional dog sport competitions at one time, in one location. Triad Dog Games is being held on Sat., May 18 with public entry hours from 10am until 3pm. This event is run by The Sergei Foundation – a nonprofit organization helping to save companion pets’ lives by providing veterinary financial assistance to families unable to afford emergency, life-saving care.

Charity event for The Sergei Foundation to raise money for sick and injured pets

Onsite Admission is $6 per person and free for kids 10 and under. Consider rounding up to $10 in honor of The Sergei Foundation’s 10-year anniversary! Since 2009, more than 4,000 people and their pets have been assisted through coordinated care, resources, and financial help made possible only by donations. Hours: Public event hours are Sat., May 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds. The 5K starts at 8:30am. Enter Gate 5 off Deacon Boulevard for both.

Costs: Triad Dog Games’ admission is $6 and free for kids 10 and under. Parking is free. Your friendly, rabies vaccinated, and leashed family dog can come for free, too! All participatory events have separate fees and vary depending on costs set by each individual event vendor. See NCDogGames.com for details.

Events/Register: The general public, both beginners and advanced a-like, may enter their dogs in dock jumping, UpDog disc challenge events, agility runs, lure challenge, small dog races (Doggy Daches), and a 5K run/walk. The flyball competition is a Region 9 sanctioned event held inside the air-conditioned education building. The public cannot register their dogs for this event but may watch this incredible dog sport and obtain trainer information for future club participation or training.

Don’t have a competitive pooch? Friendly, leashed and vaccinated dogs are welcome to come with you to watch, visit vendors, and grab a bite to eat from concessions and food trucks.
