HIGH POINT, NC (May 7, 2018) The High Point Historical Society Monthly Guild Series will be Wednesday, May 16 at 10 a.m. at the High Point Museum, located at 1859 E. Lexington Ave. This program is free and open to the public.

May is Preservation Month. Kimberly Mozingo, Group Services Coordinator for the High Point Convention & Visitors Bureau, will be our guest speaker. Her topic is High Point Preservation: Past, Present, and Future. A High Point native, Mozingo holds a Masters in History with a Concentration in Museum Studies. She works part time as a costumed interpreter at the High Point Museum and is a board member of the High Point Preservation Society. She served in the United States Air Force from 1987-1998.

The High Point Museum, a division of the High Point Public Library, shares Greater High Point’s history, provides perspective for current issues, and strengthens the sense of community.
