The 2018 Compassion Fair will be devoted to raising awareness of the vital resources within the Ardmore Community and greater Winston Salem. Attendees will have to opportunity to explore various non-profits whose ongoing efforts are indispensable for the vitality and health of the community. Representatives from numerous organizations will be onsite and include: The Forsyth Prison Ministries, Our Father’s Table Food Pantry and Clothing Closet, AARF Animal Adoption and Rescue Foundation, H.O.P.E Winston Salem, The Institute for Dismantling Racism – Share Winston Salem, Bookmarks, Joy Prom Winston Salem, Elizabeth & Tab Williams Adult Day Center, the Shepherd’s Center, Crisis Control, Girls Scouts, Boy Scouts, Ardmore Moravian, St. Timothy’s Overflow Shelter, the Piedmont Environmental Alliance, the Addiction Recovery Care Association – ARCA, various Elementary Schools, among others.

Thanks to our local businesses for providing gift cards and items to be given out as door prizes: Cloverdale Kitchen, Cafe’ Arthur’s, Cagney’s Kitchen, Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Ardmore Lifestyles, The Ardmore Coffee Shop, and P.B.’s Takeout. Special thanks to Delicious by Shereen, a catering company which employs resettled refugees, for providing refreshments.
We aim to raise awareness of these service programs and to encourage the community both individually and collectively to volunteer by participating with their time, talents, and/or funding of these essential organizations. Canned goods may be donated on site to support Our Father’s Table – Ardmore’s bi-monthly food pantry.
