Winston-Salem, NC – To ring in the holiday seaosn, the Winston-Salem Jaycees are holding the 29th Annual Holiday Parade. On Saturday, December 7th at 5 PM, more than 90 entries including but not limited to marching bands, dignitaries, and local organizations will walk or drive in downtown Winston-Salem starting at the intersection of 4th St. and Poplar St. The parade route will head down 4th St., turn right on Liberty St., and end at Corpening Plaza.
The Winston-Salem Jaycees recruit and train leaders by providing fun, innovative opportunies for individuals to serve humanity. For more than 85 years, the Winston-Salem Jaycees have been the organization of choice for young people ages 21 to 40 to provide direction and leadership to the community. The chapter’s members take an active role developing and supporting projects that serve youth, the elderly, and the needy while providing volunteers to a variety of local organizations and raising funds for North Carolina Jaycees Priortiy projects.
