GREENSBORO, NC – Alternative Resources of the Triad (ART) and organizers of Greensboro Pride are excited to kick off their rescheduled Pride Week on Wed., Oct. 17, 2018. Greensboro Pride and its associated events had to be rescheduled from September due to safety concerns from Hurricane Florence.

Get Prissy on the Pier on Wed., Oct. 17, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Kitchen + Market at Revolution Mill, 2003 Yanceyville Street, Greensboro. Enjoy a drag show while you eat dinner, and enter to win an exclusive, hand-decorated, one-of-a-kind Greensboro Pride Cup and drinks.

The Greensboro Pride Festival will take place Sunday, October 21

On Thurs., Oct. 18, Pride is taking over Crafted: The Art of the Taco from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at 220 South Elm Street, Greensboro. Grab a bite to eat, see friends, make new ones, and celebrate Pride! The takeover is hosted by the Guilford Green Foundation & LGBTQ Center.

We’re co-sponsoring Pop Up Bingo on Fri., Oct. 19, hosted by the Guilford Green Foundation from 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. outside of Chemistry Nightclub, 2901 Spring Garden Street, Greensboro.

Join us for the Official Greensboro Pride Kickoff Party on Sat., Oct. 20, at LaRue Elm Restaurant, at 403 North Elm Street, Greensboro. The kickoff party is hosted by Endless Motion Entertainment.

We’re taking Pride to the streets on Sun., Oct. 21 from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. along South Elm Street in downtown Greensboro. Enjoy Musicians, drag queens, fashion, entertainers, Kid Zone, food trucks, vendors, Beer Garden, and more! Headliners for the 2018 Greensboro Pride Festival include Greensboro-native and Voice Finalist Vanessa Ferguson, Greensboro rapper Ed E. Greensboro Pride Week festivities wrap up on Sun., Oct. 21 with the Greensboro Pride King & Queen Pageant from 8:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. at Chemistry Nightclub, 2901 Spring Garden Street, Greensboro. The winners will appear as King and Queen at Greensboro Pride 2019.
