GREENSBORO, NC (November 27) – Greensboro Downtown Parks will host free holiday events in LeBauer Park to celebrate the season. Sat., Dec. 8, Greensboro Day School will host the 3rd annual Holiday Party in LeBauer Park from 12pm-3pm. Families (and pets!) can take free pictures with Santa and enjoy holiday music by Dan Ray. Face painting and craft vendors will be on site.

On Thursdays Dec. 6 & 13, holiday concerts will take place at the Price/Bryan Performance Place in LeBauer Park. On Dec.6 from 6:30pm-8:30pm, enjoy Klezmer music with a swingin’ southern feel by the Sinai Mountain Ramblers. Before the music, kick off with an interactive Israeli Dance demo courtesy of Miki Koren of Temple Emanuel of Greensboro. Temple Emanuel will also provide free crafts for families during the event. On Dec. 13 from 6:30pm-9pm, the park will host a storytime with Mrs. Claus, Caroling by Seasons Best Carolers, and live music by Los Hermanos Leonides. Admission to the concerts is free.

 The WFMY News 2 Winterfest Ice Rink at LeBauer Park is open through Jan. 27. Visit www.piedmontwinterfest.org for more information on skate times and pricing.
