This summer camp will introduce girls to technology and foreign language in fun and creative ways. Creativity and out of the box thinking is at the heart of this fun, interactive camp. Parents should expect kids participating in the class to develop a new awareness and understanding of the world, a curiosity about technology and foreign language, and a connection to exciting cultures, people and ideas.

Mary and Max tells of a pen-pal relationship between two very different people: Mary Dinkle, a lonely 8-year-old living in the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia; and Max Horovitz, an obese, 44-year-old Jewish man with Asperger’s Syndrome living in the chaos of New York City.nnThe clay-animated film explores their twenty-year bond that survives much more than the average friendship’s ups-and-downs. This exhibition revisits some of the activities that bring the most pleasure to children. The works feature children enjoying the world of make-believe, games and toys, outdoor play, and crafts. While some images depict such blithe activities as singing, playing with dolls, and attending special events with family and friends, a few “quirky” objects prevent the exhibit from being too saccharine. So, come take a look, and remember what it’s like to be a carefree kid again.
