Join Primary Flight, Elsewhere and the Downtown Greenway for the opening of the Greenway from West Lee to Spring Garden. Luminary speakers will include Secretary of Cultural Affairs Linda Carlisle, NEA president Rocco Landsman, artists Jim Gallucci and Scott Richardson, and new mural artists Primary Flight. The event will include a beer garden by Natty Greene’s, music by Lauren Docett, and cycle-taxi service with Elsewhere’s 6-person beach bicycle. Miami-based street artists Primary Flight will invite audiences to join them in completing the last section of the spring garden underpass mural.

PERSIAN DANCE WORKSHOP AND SHOWnKatayoun teaches workshops on Classical Persian Dance and Modern and Social Persian Dances. She is of Iranian Heritage and lives in the Washington, DC area. Workshops include insight into ancient Persian culture and modern Iran, music, costuming and presentation for various styles of dance. Some previous dance experience recommended.
