Greensboro police found 20-year old Trevor Todd suffering from a gunshot wound on April 23 at approximately 3 a.m. Todd died at Moses Cone hospital from his wounds. Police are looking for a older model white Crown Victoria with dark tinted windows and rims as well as very bright or bluetinted headlights.

Winston-Salem police reported an armed robbery at the Waughtown Street Dollar General Store on Sunday. According to the report, the suspect loitered in the store until the other customers exited before making his move. He then approached the clerk with a semi-automatic pistol and demanded money.

Greensboro police officers received a rude awakening during a surveillance operation when their vehicle was struck with BB gun pellets on March 21. The suspects were a group of juveniles out riding bikes through the area. Two of them were arrested and charged with assault, vandalism and resisting an officer.

Winston-Salem police identified the suspect of a hit and run that left a man dead along US Highway 421 near Peace Haven Road. Charges were filed against Kaitlin Smith Slater, 24, for the vehicular murder of Trevor Spencer Prough on Mar. 4. Slaters bond is set at $125, 000 and her first court appearance is Mar.

Abel Luis Quiroz, 16, was arrested on Feb. 10 after he allegedly shot a middle school bus driving past his house with a pellet pistol that morning. A Winston-Salem man is facing charges after allegedly pointing a gun at a man while driving on US Highway 52. On Jan. 2, Mark Anthony Callahan, 48, was stopped in his red Chevrolet pick-up and taken into custody for assault. A .357 caliber revolver handgun was seized from the vehicle.

The decapitated body of Maria Magdalena Rodriguez, 31 of Winston-Salem was found at about 1 a.m. on Sunday in a field near Williamsburg Road. The next day police arrested and charged her husband, 35-year-old Juan Carlos Rodriguez, with 1 st -degree murder in connection with his wifes death.
