SUNTRUST BANK ON SUMMIT AVE ROBBED Police responded to a robbery call at Suntrust Bank on Summit Avenue in Greensboro at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The unarmed suspect, described as an older man, was unarmed, and escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. He fled in an unknown direction and police do not have a suspect yet.

The department announced that Joshua Paul Eanes pledged guilty to 95 counts of graffiti on Aug.

Greensboro police reported that Chastain Dickens was shot in the leg while standing at the 900 block of Sullivan Street on July 20. Dickens told police that the suspect was a short, black man who fled in gold four-door vehicle. Dickens injuries are non-life threatening and the investigation is ongoing.

Greensboro police have apprehended two suspects, Jeremmy Shields and Monique Fox, who are believed to be involved in a burglary on July 8. When a suspect approached Sade Meadows car on Sunday in the parking lot at Jakes Diner around 3:30 a.m. with a gun, they probably didnt expect her to grab it from them. Meadows took the gun from them before realizing it was a BB gun and dropping it. The suspect escaped, though probably not without embarrassment.

Edmonds and Antoine Lamont Walden, the second suspect who has not been found, are accused of murdering Lacqueon Abrilla Gregory, who was shot and killed at Plush NightLife on High Point Road on Nov.

Daniel Roy Smith of Winston-Salem was sentenced on June 14 for attempted murder of officer Guilford Sheriff Mcpl. JW Mecham on Aug. 29, 2009. On June 15 the department released a video of the incident. Smith was sentenced for 313-385 months in state prison, which will be served after a federal prison sentence.

According to police, copper, aluminum, stainless steel and scrap iron have been the more desirable metals and thieves will go to great lengths to steal these metals and trade them in for cash at metal recycling companies.

The puppies were missing from Surry County along with two others that were located through further investigation. Anthony Lyons was held at gunpoint and robbed while at Creek Crossing Apartments off Creek Ridge Road on May 15. According to Greensboro police, Lyons was meeting an unknown female when he was approached by a masked gunman from behind. As the gunman demanded Lyons possessions, the woman climbed into the victims vehicle.

Greensboro police reported that Jimmy Washington was a victim of an assault and burglary while at his Autumn Drive home on Monday. Washington woke up to find two suspects assaulting him and ransacking his bedroom. The two men had gained entry by forcing open the front door.
