Trigger the vote

The surprise victory of Christine ODonnell in Delawares US Senate primary confirms what weve suspected all year: This years critical midterm elections are going to bring real change to Congress. And it wont be the kind of change favored by the hope and change crowd; at least I hope not.

Thankful for fading freedoms

It's show trial time!

You can't please all of the people all of the time, but President Obama and his attorney general, Eric Holder, have got nearer than most to pulling it off. Enemies within

For six months, authorities had been tracking the extremist thinking of Hasan. Internet postings like this one go back to May 20, 2009: "Scholars have paralleled [a US soldier's falling on a grenade] to suicide bombers whose intention, by sacrificing their lives, is to help save Muslims by killing enemy soldiers."

Just how funny was that story of the man in Fairfax County, Va. who got up early on Monday morning, Oct. 19, walked naked into his own kitchen to make himself a cup of coffee? The next significant thing that happed to 29-year-old Eric Williamson is the local cops arriving to charge him with indecent exposure.
