Got in the game: I became a DJ in early spring of this year and spent every day making new
music.
Why I do it: I wanted to explore something new musically.
Influences: Bassnectar, Thunder Thighs, Washed Out, STS9 and Animal Collective.
First pro gig: CFBG’s on Friday, May 14.
Studio work: I record independently at home using Reason and Protools.
Favorite technique: While I’m playing a loop I insert a melody using my midi controller live.
Signature mix: I created a dubstep-type song and mashed both “Wanksta” by 50 Cent and several
Katt Williams jokes.
Personal playlist: Radiohead, Animal Collective, Wilco, Akron/Family, Beach House.
