Why I play it: Because at JAMZ, we play the hottest, most requested hip-hop songs of today.
Best thing about my job: I love the interaction with our audience. When people say they
love waking up to my show, it’s the best feeling in the world!
How I got started: I started out as an intern at 102 JAMZ and worked my way up. I started
with weekends and promotions to doing nights on-air to the morning show.
Years of service: In total, 10 years, but six-and-a-half on the morning show.
Favorite artists: The Roots, Common, De La Soul, Redman, Wu-Tang, Jay-Z, Nas, Biggie, Tribe
called Quest, etc.

MC work: I host parties on the weekends; Friday night at the Renaissance Nightclub and
Saturday night at Lotus Lounge, both in downtown Greensboro.
