NATIONAL WEAR RED DAY FOR THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION

art8497

Companies around the Triad went RED for National Wear Red Day with the American Heart Association on Friday, Feb. 5. February is American Heart Month which focuses on awareness and prevention of heart disease in our community and around the country. Red ribbon displays around the Triad are part of this celebration of wearing red for Go Red For Women with the American Heart Association, locally sponsored by Forsyth Medical Center. Heart disease is the number one killer of both men and women in the United States. We lose one in every three women to heart disease, approximately one women every minute. Explore your family history of heart disease, learn the risk factors, become familiar with the warning signs for a heart attack and make the small changes in your lifestyle that can help you love your heart!
