Jessica Wyrick is a women with a plan. The 23-year-old Greensboro lifer has always known she wanted to help people. "I wanted to be a pediatric doctor," she said. "But it would have taken too long." Wyrick has just graduated with a four-year degree from GTCC as a registered nurse and is starting her new job at Moses Cone Hospital in August.
For the past four years, she has balanced her time with work at a day care and full-time classes. "It was a lot of work and I'm finally having a bit of free time that I am really enjoying," she said. "I am going out to Greene Street, Thirsty Thursday at the Grasshopper games and listening to bands such as the Electromatic. My cousin Kenneth Saunders plays in that band."
