Robbing the Shell
Winston-Salem police officers reported to call at the Shell station located on University Parkway in Winston-Salem at about 1 a.m. on Aug. 11. The suspect approached the cashier demanding money from the drawer.
The cashier believes the suspect was armed but did not see the weapon. The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as a black male about 5’7” and 150 pounds. He was wearing a long sleeve gray shirt, blue jeans and used a white towel to cover his face. Hotel throwdown
Greensboro police officers responded to a call about a shooting from Executive Inn and Suites on O’Henry Boulevard in Greensboro on Monday morning. When officers arrived they found Charles Ronrico Lawshe, 27, suffering from a head injury. After an investigation, detectives determined that Lawshe entered room 109 at the hotel with a handgun and got into an argument with Corey McQueen, 32, and Scott Miguel, 28. He shot both men. Lawshe, McQueen and Miguel were all transported to the hospital for their injuries. Lawshe was charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill. Winston-Salem bank robbery
A white man entered the
Wachovia Bank on Country Club Road in Winston- Salem at about 9:30 a.m.
on Aug. 14 and presented a note to a teller demanding money. The teller
followed the directions of the suspect, handing over an undisclosed
amount of money.
The suspect left the scene without displaying
a weapon. No injuries were reported and only bank employees were
present at the time of the crime.
The suspect is described as about 6’, 180 to 200 pounds with blond or light brown hair and moustache. He was wearing a light-colored
baseball cap and a twotone shirt with dark sleeves, and is thought to
be between 35 and 45 years old. Anyone with information about this

Midnight pursuit
Officer SE
Woods of the Winston-Salem Police Department was patrolling at about
12:30 a.m. on Monday morning when he heard gunshots coming from
Cleveland Avenue Homes. Woods and other officers responded, and
witnesses told them that the suspect later identified as Isaac
Williams, 43, had fired the shot and left in what they identified as a
Jeep. Officers later located Williams in a Mitsubishi Montero traveling
in the wrong lane on Woodland Avenue. When police tried to stop him
Williams resisted and a pursuit began. Officers observed a shotgun
being pointed out of the driver’s side window but the gun was later
dropped from the vehicle without being shot. After reaching a dead-end
on Lincoln Avenue, Williams fled on foot and was later located hiding
in a nearby brush. Williams has been charged with felony flee to elude
arrest, discharging a firearm in city limits, possession of a firearm
by a felon, going armed to the terror of the public, driving with
license revoked, resisting arrest and assault with a deadly weapon.
Williams
was also wanted by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Department for
violation of a 50-B order, resisting arrest and vandalism.
