Here’s a great story: In February 2006 this week’s Page Three model, Tammie Davis, logged onto an internet dating site and found a man she liked.
They went out once, and then again. They had been dating for a couple weeks when the man brought her to a party where people were singing karaoke.
Tammie took her turn, belting out the remake of “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascall Flats, and the man was blown away by her pipes. He did not yet know that Tammie used to be lead singer for the Virginia band Crossroads, and that she was in the US Marine Corps Band before being honorably discharged as a sergeant. He prodded her to get back into music, and within a year her career was up and running (give a listen at www.tammiedavismusic.com). To make the ending even more happily-ever-after, the gentleman soon became her husband. Beautiful music ensued.
