The film by local writer Nathan Ross Freeman has lit up festival circuits, winning best feature film at the 2008 Sweet Auburn International Film Festival and best score at the Southern Appalachian International Film Festival for its R&B, gospel, new-age and hip-hop soundtrack. Tonight Freeman and Mr. Bones return to Salem College, where Freeman is a visiting writer.
