Telluride Mountain Film Festival
MOUNTAINFILM in Telluride, now 27 years old, was founded by a handful of dirtbag climbers with a desire to capture their passion on film and share it with the community. The early mountain films began on crags and ended in pubs. Somewhere in between, the climbers settled in and viewed their filmed feats -- which have now become historical records of the foundation and evolution of climbing in North America and beyond. As these climbers "matured," so have their/our passions and vision.
