Jaime Jones — Makeup artist
Jaime Jones never thought she’d end up here. As a film and video production student, she took a required makeup and wardrobe class. That was six years ago, and since then Jones has been pursuing her dream of being a full-time make up artist. She is a licensed esthetician and has worked on student and independent films, photo shoots, special occasions and much more. “When I was much younger I was very much into art — I loved to draw and paint,” she said. “I think that’s where it really all comes together. It led me down a different path that I really love.” The longtime Winston-Salem resident recently moved to Greensboro, where the majority of her makeup clients as well as her day job in an office are both conveniently located. Jones hopes to some day relocate to Hollywood to pursue her craft alongside major film productions.
