PBPS BLUES CHALLENGE RETURNS
Band Competition
Set for 9/26, Solo/Duo Contest 10/24 The Piedmont Blues Preservation Society’s annual Blues Challenge returns for two dates this fall.
The band competition will be Sunday, Sept. 26 at Zion Bar & Grill, 5601 Roanne Way, Greensboro. The solo/duo competition will be held Sunday, Oct. 24 at Zion Bar & Grill.
Once again, the Piedmont Blues Preservation Society will send two acts to the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN, Feb. 1-5, 2011.
First up is the band competition on Sunday, Sept. 26. All blues bands that would like to compete can register on-line at www.piedmontblues.org. There is a $30 registration fee, which can also be paid on-line..
The PBPS Blues Challenge is a great opportunity to catch some up and coming local and regional blues talent.
