Silence and Resistance

Silence and Resistance an MFA thesis concert by Katherine Kiefer Stark, will be performed at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 27-28, in the UNCG Dance Theater. The subject of the evening-length dance is the relationship of U.S. citizens with war, exploring how we acknowledge our responsibility and what we do once we have according to Keifer Stark. Set to music by Weststar Music, Aster Piazzolia, Uninhabitable Mansions, Loscil Plume and Stephen Sondheim, the work includes 20 dancers and 18 community participants. The UNCG Dance Theater is located at Walker Avenue and Kenilworth Street.
