Dress For Mess 2009

The Center for Visual Artists, located in the downtown Greensboro, is thrilled to announce the return of its the Dress for Mess Fundraiser, to be held Saturday evening, March 7th, 2009 at the Greensboro Cultural Center from 7-11pm.

If you haven't heard about it before, this is a formal event, with casual or messy dress because it features hands-on art stations for adults to try their hand at activities such as pottery, weaving, painting, and collage just to name a few. There is a good chance you'll get messy, and a better chance that you'll have fun. Participants will also get to take their creations home! Proceeds raised at the event are used throughout the year to promote the CVA mission of providing and expanding arts education opportunities in the community. Over 200 supporters are expected to attend and tickets are being kept at a low price of $25 per person.
