Vineyards of Swan Creek - Fall Harvest Festival 10/11/2008 - 10/12/2008 12pm-5pm Swan Creek Vineyards Harvest Festival Location: Yadkin Valley AVA and the new Swan Creek AVA Dates: 10/11/2008 - 10/12/2008 Saturday 12pm-6pm, Sunday 1pm - 5pm Vineyards of Swan Creek Wine Trail celebrate autumn in the foothills of NC with our annual Harvest Festival. Enjoy two days of wonderful award winning wines, great music and entertainment, complimentary seasonal refreshments and great gift ideas while overlooking the beautiful and scenic Swan Creek AVA. VSC HARVEST FESTIVAL 2008 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS SAT, Oct. 11: 12pm -2pm, Sid Collins @ Dobbins Creek 2pm - 4pm, Country and Bluegrass Band @ Laurel Gray 4pm - 6pm, Mystical Guitar-Phillip Ray Childress @ Buck Shoals SUN. Oct. 12: 1pm-3pm, Matt Kendrick Unit from @ Raffaldini 3pm-5pm, Escaping Inertia @ Shadow Springs Additional Details: Enjoy hayride vineyard tours at Laurel Gray every two hours both Saturday and Sunday. Buck Shoals will have crafters on site from 11am-4pm on Saturday. Raffaldini will offer free hourly Vineyard Tours with the Vineyard Manager, Andy Shores from 12-4pm on Saturday. Located just off Hwy 421 at exit #267 the five vineyards of both the Yadkin Valley AVA and the new Swan Creek AVA are within an easy five miles of each other. Participating vineyards are: Raffaldini, Buck Shoals, Laurel Gray, Dobbins Creek and Shadow Springs. Please visit each website for details about events. No admission fee.
