He has written three books, “Sweet Tea, Fried Chicken and Lazy Dogs: A Reflection of North Carolina Life," Pearl’s Pork Palace and other Stories from Flynn’s Crossing, N.C.” and his newest book, “Backyards, Bow Ties and Beauty Queens."
