First Friday in Downtown Greensboro

The community is invited to a self-guided tour of local art galleries and studios, museums, retail shops, restaurants and alternative arts venues the first Friday of every month from 6-9pm,and many of the participating locations will host special events, promotions and demonstrations and some venues may offer extended hours past 9pm and refreshments. A detailed, downloadable map will be available on the day of the event on a dedicated Web site, www.downtownfridays.com. Dozens of Downtown restaurants will also be open offering regular hours. This once-a-month, Downtown event will continue through 2009 on every first Friday of every month from 6-9pm. See www.downtownfridays.com for participating merchants
