For one week a world of jugglers will descend upon Winston-Salem. During the week the legendary late-night, “anything goes,” edgy and definitely not always G-rated Club Renegade shows will be taking the stage at Millennium Center. Short acts that would seldom be risked in front of a paying audience are welcome at Renegade. Everything from juggling to frightening stunts to daring "performance art" to the simply indescribable will be on display for your amusement, amazement and bewilderment. There is also a "best cigarette trick contest" with cash prizes. So if you have a tobacco related stunt, take the stage for a chance to win big. It’s all happening in the intimate second-floor space of the Millennium Center Theater. Club Renegade accompanies the International Jugglers Association's annual festival, taking place this year in Winston-Salem from July 13-19. Find out about other events during the week and all IJA activities at juggle.org. Show producer Keith “Bindlestiff” Nelson was raised in Winston-Salem. He has returned to the area many times with the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus. And he looks forward to offering a show that always finds a way to shock and surprise those who have witnessed everything. You won’t miss a minute of the potentially infamous entertainment of Club Renegade!
