Sunfest--A Hometown Family Fun Day

Enjoy old-fashioned family fun on Saturday, August 9 from 10 am - 3 pm at "Sunfest" -- a one day festival of traditional games and activities for all ages in Downtown Mebane. Kids will enjoy riding in the bike & trike parade or petting the baby Serval cats! There is an egg & spoon race, watermelon seed spitting and yo-yo contest, sidewalk checkers and much more! There will also be face painting, dunking booth, cakewalk, and a DJ playing music all day. Explore Downtown Mebane with family & friends and browse unique antique & specialty shops, taste local fare, or join in an afternoon wine tasting. Sponsored by Destination Downtown Mebane.
