Treasure Hunt for your Health

Healthy Kids Day is a FREE event for children/youth and their parents, sponsored by the YMCA/Get Healthy Guilford, 98.7 Radio, JAMZ Radio, and The Greensboro Children's Museum. It will be held April 18th from 10 am -12:30 pm in Center City Park and Festival Park in Downtown Greensboro. Exhibitors will provide health services, health education, and fun, healthy activities. Children and youth can look forward to live music and a supercharged dance party, Kids on the Ball, yoga for kids, parachute play, healthy snacks, and lots of fun lessons on health and safety. Guilford the Grasshopper will be on hand, along with Arggh! Pirates to help locate clues for the treasure hunt. This is a great way for kids to learn more about health and safety. Professionals from health agencies will be available to answer questions about nutrition, physical activity, safety, and children's medical and dental health. Children will have a chance to meet and talk with law enforcement and firefighters and check out their official vehicles. YMCA staff will direct outdoor games and activities. This event is made possible by the generous contributions of agencies and businesses that care about children and children's health in Guilford County.
