Details: James Evans by Tommy Trull will be presented on Sunday, March 21 at 3:00 PM at First Friends Meeting, 2100 W. Friendly Ave., Greensboro, NC. The format is readers' theatre and three actors will read the new play about James Evans, an industrious and compassionate Cone Mills worker and activist. North Carolina Humanities Council Scholar Roxanne Newton will present comments and lead discussion after the play is read. This project is made possible in part by a grant from the North Carolina Humanities Council, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
