The Human Race is a community fundraising event that allows participants to raise money for their favorite nonprofit organization (agency, church, school PTA, etc.). In the past 15 years, hundreds of local nonprofits have raised more than $3.5 million through the Triad’s Human Race. On Race Day, fundraisers gather at Grimsley High School to walk, run, or roll in support of their chosen nonprofit. You can participate in The Human Race as an individual fundraiser or work together as a Walking Team. Race Day features a 5K walk and competitive run, free food, live music, prizes, and other activities. The Triad’s local Human Race is planned, managed, and promoted by The Volunteer Center of Greensboro, Inc., a nonprofit that strengthens our community by connecting people to meaningful volunteer opportunities.
