Coming to enliven the art hop at Studio B at the Broach, 520 S. Elm St., is the work of artist Edwin Gill. Gill, a native of Columbia, SC, now lives in Charlotte and brings colorful, tri-dimensional show (Hi Paint) For Fun, For Love, For Life to Greensboro.

The work itself focuses on a large detail of 16th-century German painter Albrecht Aldhorfers Battle of Issus, which depicts thousands of mounted soldiers in combat.
