How I got it: Kinda crazy, but I have been called D.J. Snow since I was born.
What I play: Hip hop, breakbeats, Top 40 hits and mash-ups
Where I play: I hold residence at Greene Street Club (College Night, which will be back in the spring), wedding receptions, fashion shows and promotional gigs for new fragrances and clothing lines.
Upcoming shows: I have a show at unitedbreaks.fm, which is an online breakbeat radio station, called “Break Fluid” every Sunday from 7-8 p.m.. Tonic on Dec. 18 and 31, Tailgators on Dec. 19 and 26, Johnny & June’s on Christmas night and Fox & Hound on Dec. 27.
Why I do it: I have always had a passion for music since I was born. Music is my motivation and it’s awesome when people are getting down when I’m mixing.
Influences as a DJ: DJ Icey, DJ Domination, Stanton Warriors, DJ Sizzahands, DJ Riz, DJ AM, Krafty Kuts and Deekline & Wizard.
First pro gig: Summer 2002 at Club Fusion opening for DJ Mike B.
Favorite technique: Crab scratching, transforms and smooth blends
