Ruth Spalding must be doing a good job. This weekend’s lecture and concert with notable cellist Yo-Yo Ma is already sold out. Spalding, who originally hails from New Jersey, says she moved to Greensboro 17 years ago for a job. “But my husband grew up in Winston- Salem,” she says, “and he really wanted to get out of New Jersey.”
