The Piedmont Swing Dance Society holds two
dances each month, on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each

Free Acting Classes! The Community Out-reach
Center of the Arts (C.O.C.O.A.) is holding Free Acting
Classes at The Windsor Recreation Center. 1601 E. Lee
Street, Greensboro, NC 27401. Classes will be on a ongoing
basis and will meet Saturday mornings (11:00
a.m. - 12:30 p.m.) There is a $5 registration fee and
scholarships are available for those in need. You may
want to attend if God has gifted you in the arts, you
are intersted in learning more about acting, dance,
and some vocal, if you are intersted in perfoming live
on stage, if you are any where in ages from 9 to 99, if
you would like the meet and establish new friends, or
if you see the need to help volunteer in some capacity.

know and support each other, have fun and informally
discuss topics of interest to LGBTIQ youth.

Chinese Association will offer a Beginner Taiji Class.
Classes meat on Fridays from 7:15-8:15pm at the
Glenwood Recreation Centr on 2010 Coliseum Drive

general health through proper breathing practice and

September 1 - October 4. Celebrating Shakespeare,
a mini exhibit of Shakespeare dolls, will be on display
at the Doll & Miniature Museum of High Point, 101
West Green Drive. The exhibit includes William
Shakespeare, Bottom, Hamlet, Othello and Falstaff.
Hours are 10 a.m. - 4p.m. Tuesday-Saturdays, and 1
p.m. - 4 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for
Seniors and students 16 and older, $2.50 for age 6-15,

Thursdays. 6:30 p.m. Eight documentary films
exploring issues from coal mining in Appalachia to access
to water supplies around the globe will be shown
at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
All films will be shown Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. in the
auditorium of the Weatherspoon Art Museum and are
free and open to the public. Complementary parking
is available in the rear of the building. The film dates
