Barroom setup

Thomas Foster was at coopers Ale House in Greensboro on Aug. 7 at about 2 a.m. where he met two women, whom he later agreed to meet up with at the clubhouse on Dolley madison Road. Upon arriving at the clubhouse, Foster saw the two women standing with a black male in the parking lot. The man approached Foster and asked for a cigarette. When Foster reached to retrieve the cigarette the man punched him in the face and took his wallet.

The suspect and two women fled the scene in a 2003 silver Nissan Altima. The suspect is described as 5’9” with a slim build. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call crimestoppers at 336.373.1000.

Rape victim flees scene.

A jogger on the trail behind Bethabara Park in Winston-salem came across a black female who claimed to have just been raped at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 8. The jogger left the woman, asking her to wait while she called police. Police arrived to the scene within two minutes of the call but the victim had left the scene. A canine track, community search and a canvassing of local medical facilities did not locate the victim. The victim had told the jogger that the suspect had a dark complexion, weighed about 200 pounds and may possibly be known as “Wall.” The victim said the suspect left the scene in a white lexus. Police say this is the second sexual assault report to occur near this area under similar circumstances. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call crimestoppers at 336.727.2800.

Crime spree on High Point Road

Ryan Nicholas Johnson, 24, was doing his laundry at the Wash Tub laundry on High Point Road in Greensboro at about 10 p.m. on Aug. 8 when Michael sentallis Jarrell, 25, allegedly placed a gun to his head and told him to “drop everything.” Jarrell took the victim’s personal items including the keys to his 2005 silver Pontiac Grand Am, in which he fled the scene. He later robbed additional victims at the same Wash Tub, along with the sonic on High Point Road and an unidentified location on Groometown Road. Police stopped Jarrell on High Point Road and took him into custody. Charges were not listed in the police report and no injuries were reported. Cigarette mugging

Raymond Morton Jr., 29, was selling cigarettes on Randleman Road in Greensboro at about 1:45 p.m. on sunday. He says he was approached by two young, black males who held him at gunpoint and stole his cigarettes. The suspects fled the scene on foot. The suspects are described as having dark complexions about 5’10” and 6’ tall with medium builds. The first suspect is believed to be about 19 to 21 years old and was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jean shorts and carrying a handgun. The second suspect was wearing a dark green shirt and dark pants and could possibly have a thick African or Jamaican accent. Shell robbery

A shell Food Mart clerk was mopping the floors at about 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 7 on south Holden Road in Greensboro when a man allegedly entered the store and held a gun to the back of the clerk’s head. The man ordered the clerk to open the register and lay down on the floor. The man fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money and Newport cigarettes. The suspect is described as a black male, about 6’, with a slim build and wearing a white tank top. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crimestoppers at 336.373.1000.
