Located deep in the beautiful pine forests of southern Arkansas and host city of the World Championship Steak Cook Off . Magnolia is also home to Southern Arkansas University which provides residents of Magnolia and the surrounding area with all the advantages of college life. The Art Department has its own gallery in which a variety of art shows are put on throughout the year. Adults and children can take any number of workshops that the University offers. Concerts of all kinds are performed by the Music Department, and many recognized artist are featured. The Theater Department has a long list of award winning plays credited to its performance and are always extremely entertaining!
